Burdette, Koehler, Murphy & Associates Celebrates 40 Years In Business!

On April 1, 1968, John C. Burdette, Jr., Louis A. Koehler, Jr. and Thomas V. Murphy, Jr. founded BKM in order to better serve our clients by providing engineering solutions that are energy conscience, cost-effective, and design savvy. Our desire for personal interaction with our clients on each design project was a driving force in those early years. Although the leadership has changed over the years, the company’s core values have remained the same; our passion for quality and personal attention continues today.
Today, James L. Barrett, Jr., Gary E. Johnson, Jr. and Mark A. Flickinger, lead the company and its talented team of design professionals and opened its current office on May 28, 2006 to allow for the growth of the company and to reflect our approach to mechanical and electrical engineering design. Our new state-of-the-art office reflects our belief in technology, its openness reflects our belief in collaboration, and its design reflects our belief in aesthetics.
