BKM is excited to announce Kaylee Haupt, mechanical designer, was selected for a new program offered by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) organization.  The program, sponsored by the local and regional chapters of ASHRAE, promotes the growth and knowledge of young engineers.  Kaylee was nominated for the Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA) Leadership Development through Regional Support (LeaDRS) by the Baltimore Chapter and was selected as the winner at the regional level for her involvement and dedication in the industry.

The program will include Kaylee’s attendance at the 2014 ASHRAE Winter Conference in New York City, where she will have the opportunity to shadow a Society Level Member of ASHRAE. This year’s conference will concentrate on ASHRAE’s yearly mission of “Shaping the Next”. Her experience at the conference will allow her to continue learning about new technologies in the industry as well gain additional knowledge of how the society works.

“I am looking forward to the conference and participating in this new program,” said Kaylee Haupt, mechanical designer. “I can’t wait to see the behind the scenes action of ASHRAE and learn more about our industry.  I am so grateful to have this opportunity.”
