Lower School Building

BKM provided MEP design services for this project, consisting of the design for the construction of a twostory, 66,000-square-foot lower school complete with gymnasium, lunchroom, warming kitchen, offices, classrooms, and a computer laboratory.

Mechanical systems included a 240-ton air cooled chiller with five central station air handling units. Gas fired sectional boilers were provided in the penthouse with heating water circulated to variable volume terminal units throughout. Electrical systems included a new 1,000-Amp, 480/277-volt service with distribution and branch panels located throughout the building. Interior and exterior lighting, including new parking lot lighting, were also provided.
