🏗️ Breaking Ground at Dulaney High School! BKM is proud to serve as the MEP consultant for the new 345,000 SF replacement Dulaney High School, a multi-story facility being constructed on the existing campus. The design features a four-pipe chilled and heating water HVAC system with air-cooled chillers and high-efficiency condensing boilers. Classrooms will be conditioned with fan coil units and ventilated by rooftop DOAS units with energy recovery. Specialized spaces, including the gym, auditorium, and media center, will be served by dedicated rooftop systems to meet their unique needs. The project also includes new domestic water, fire protection, and BGE gas services. To support reliability and safety, the school will feature dual 4,000-amp electrical services, a permanent generator for life safety and standby power, and a roll-up generator connection for compliance with MEMA regulations. LED lighting with advanced controls will illuminate both the building and stadium. Frederick Police Department HQ 🚨 BKM provided MEP design services for the transformation of the 4-story, 63,000 SF Governor William Donald Schaefer Government Service Center into the new Frederick Police Department Headquarters.
