BKM provided MEP design services for this new two-story, public safety building on the campus of Towson University.
The new, standalone facility supports the Police Department, Emergency Preparedness, Environmental Health and Safety, and Access Control. The building is comprised of a variety of spaces including a state-of-the-art emergency operations center, expanded training facility with video capability, a sally port, prisoner processing room, high density storage system area, property evidence storage area, armory, communications dispatcher room, and a camera viewing area. The project achieved LEED Silver Certification.
